Artificial Intelligence

I'm interested in the broader picture of Artificial Intelligence (AI), not just trendy LLMs and agentic loops. There is a broad set of tools and algorithms that continues to evolve. Some tools already seem to be close to a self-improvement loop; but we're still unclear whether any of these systems can truly be called intelligent, as most of them seem to fail when stretched outside the window of things they've seen.
