About this site
Post-Digital Leader is an independent publication launched in January 2026 by Gregor Sieber to share thoughts on leadership, technology and being human in the post-digital era.
Refreshingly, the content on this site is written by an actual human (but still on a computer) and not by an AI.
What do you mean by post-digital?
The term "post-digital" describes a state where digital technology has become so ingrained in our daily lives that it is no longer considered a separate or novel entity. It has become a seamless and often invisible part of our reality.
Digital has become ubiquitous and normalized, i.e. digital technologies are no longer remarkable or disruptive; they are an expected and fundamental part of our environment. The novelty has worn off, and technology is now a given. The distinction between the analog and digital worlds has blurred. Our lives are a hybrid of physical and digital experiences, and we effortlessly move between them. The conversation is moving away from the technology itself and toward its impact on society, culture, and individual lives. This includes a more critical examination of the ethical and social implications of our constant connectivity, as we become more fragmented and our attention span dwindles.
Successfully navigating the post-digital landscape requires a shift in mindset and a more conscious approach to our relationship with technology, towards human-centricity, integration, adaptation and responsibility.
